2026 Summer Camp: A Parent's Review (E.S.)
It was a big challenge for both me and my daughter. Sending my 8th-grade daughter, who had never lived apart from us, to another country for a month to study English made me very anxious and worried inside. In the end, it turned out to be nothing more than the needless worry of a father who dotes on his daughter.
For about a month after deciding to send her to an English camp, I researched camps in several countries and compared websites until my eyes hurt. How is the curriculum? Is the dormitory comfortable? Is the surrounding area safe? There was a lot to look into. Of course, I also had to consider the cost.
JH Asia Link is a new language school that has just started in Clark, Philippines. However, its class content and the enthusiasm of the camp staff were by no means inferior to other long-established language schools. In fact, because it is new, the facilities where the children stay felt clean and well kept. I can't mention specific amounts, but it was also very good value for money.
The local activities held every weekend were also a good opportunity for the children to understand and learn about the country's culture. As for what I was most curious about, the improvement in English, assessments were held every week and the results were shared directly with us parents. It wasn't just scores; it was a sincere, reliable report analyzing what my child was lacking and what the next classes would focus on.
To parents considering English camps, not only in the Philippines but also in the US, Australia, and elsewhere, I recommend taking a look at the JH Asia Link English Camp. During the initial consultation, I asked so many questions it must have been a bother, but they always answered politely without ever showing annoyance, which deepened my trust even further. On both departure and return, a JH Asia Link staff member accompanied the children from Korea to the Philippines and from the Philippines back to Korea.
By the way, my child got a little sick during the camp, and JH Asia Link took care of her with real devotion. Even though it was nothing serious, they took her to the hospital themselves, looked after her like family, and kept me updated in real time. I am truly grateful for their attention to detail, even preparing and sending every receipt and document needed for the travel insurance claim.
