2026 Summer Camp: A Parent's Review (E.H.)

Hello. I am the mother of a 9th grader. This camp was my child's second English camp. Last year, in 8th grade, there was so much we didn't know that worry and anxiety came first, but during the month in the Philippines the teachers took good care of my child, and the director was very kind and attentive. So when sending my child to this summer camp, I felt I could trust them completely with safety.

My daughter loves English and wants to get better at it. At school, she even seeks out the native-speaking teachers to talk to them, and she apparently tries her hardest to act as an interpreter between the teacher and her friends. I could truly feel how much she wants to improve, so although it was by no means easy financially, we decided to send her to the summer camp. Before leaving, she set a goal: "To be able to keep speaking English without stopping!!"

I was grateful to be able to see my child studying hard through the videos and reports the head teacher sent. Her biggest weakness, vocabulary, was gradually filled in by reading and memorizing new words every day. Living in the Philippines for a month greatly increased the time she spent listening to English, and learning the expressions the teachers used was also helpful. Above all, while studying is important, I am truly thankful to the teachers who carefully looked after everything from meals to weekend activities with the students' health and well-being in mind.

Looking at the books and handouts my child studied, I thought, "Wow, that's quite a high level." I praised her a lot for working so hard. After last year's camp, my child continued learning English through online English conversation lessons. Since she has improved even more this time, I think her online lessons can move up a level too. If the opportunity arises, I would like her to keep joining the camp. Thank you to the director, the head teacher, and all the teachers who put their hearts into this month.
